The beginning

I love Cooking, and after thinking about how much I wish I could be a chef, I decided I will start a blog about all the different meals I cook for myself and my wonderful, yet pickie Boyfriend, Chris. Growing up my mother always cooked Homemade meals and everyone ate together. Although I did not think of it at the time, this is how my Love for cooking began. Not only did my mOther cook meals, she also baked up a storm. My aunt and mother would bake pies and other delicious things for a place called Richardsons. I remember the HUGE oven and mixer in the basement of my aunts. Of course again I did not realize how much this was shaping my love for cooking/baking!! The first step for me in cooking was my mother yet again, giving me recepie cards of some of her signature meals! Over the years my love has grown and expanded based on my life situations. Currently, I utilizing cooking as a way to clear my mind after work and show my boyfriend how much I appreciate his hard work and love for me. I work long hours during the week so planning meals that are quick yet delicious has been my goal. I hate eating so late in the evenings but have no choice. I am constantly searching pinterest, cookbooks, magazines, recipe apps, and of course those wonderful recipe cards. Recently, I have been trying to put my own spin on some recipes to make them my own!  I hope my meals motivate others to cook for their loved ones Or relieve the stress of their day!! Thanks Mom for being such a great role model and support!
