Hey everyone!!! I'm alive!! Had two days without cooking this weekend, and man did I miss it!!! Well today I went on a cooking rampage! I'm not going to chit chat but get right to the chase because there were some great recipes today. This morning I decided I needed to use my biscuits since I still have a bunch! I first scrambled some eggs with cheese and flattened my biscuits. I then put some scrambled eggs in the middle of the biscuit and sprinkled bacon bits and cheese. I then rolled it up in a ball and placed it in a muffin tin! I'm going to call this Scrambled Egg Surprise! After they came out of the oven I cut it in half and drizzled syrup over.
After breakfast I of course clipped my coupons and then went off to the store to get a few things I needed for today. I did get some good deals on airwick candles :) When I got home I got my big and little crock pots ready!! First the snack for today was Buffalo Chicken Dip! All I did for this was use one can of chicken, ranch dressing, garlic buffalo wing sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and green onion! I let if cook up on low in my baby crock pot!! Delicious!! Great Super Bowl snack
Next I got dinner ready in the big crock pot. Garlic Parmesan Pork Roast!!! OMG soooo very good! I even got to feed my bestest friend in the whole wide world Chandra!!! So not just Chris' input but hers as well!!
Garlic-Parm Pork Roast
Garlic Powder
Parmesan Cheese
Pork Roast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup Apple Juice
1/3c butter melted
Sweet Onion
All I did was sprinkle garlic powder all of the pork roast. Then I did the same with the Parm-cheese. I sliced up my sweet onion real thin and laid this on the bottle of my crockpot like a little blanket! I then added the pork roast. Mix the soup, juice and butter and pour over top!!! Cook on Low for 6-8 hours!! I made some red skinned potato's and of course the famous green giant corn!! Boyyy was this delicious!
I ALSO made a dessert! I had coupons for crescent rolls, and a few weeks ago they had the mini Pillsbury ones on sale so I bought like 12!!! Soooo I have always seen this recipe on Facebook or Pinterest and decided to try it. It's called Sopapilla Cheesecake
Sopapilla Cheesecake
1 pkg cream cheese softened
1/2c sugar
1 stick of butter melted
At least 2 things of crescent rolls (I had the mini ones so not sure but get at least 2)
Sugar and Cinnamon
First grease your baking dish. Mix your cream cheese with 1/2c of sugar. Set aside. Then mix some cinnamon and sugar in another bowl and set aside. Press some of the crescent rolls in the bottom of the dish. Spread 1/2 of your cream cheese mixture over the crescent rolls. Next spread another layer of crescent roll over the cream cheese mix. Pour 1/2 butter over the crescent roll and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Add the remainder of the cream cheese mix, then top with another layer of crescent roll. Pour rest of butter then sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar. Preheat oven 350 and bake for 45 minutes!!! OMG soo deliciously addicting!
Yeh you thought that was it huh??!! NOPE I made sooooo much more today, but these were freezer meals so you will have to wait for the recipes on a different day!! But I will give you a sneak peak with some photos!! I made a totally of three freezer meals; Salisbury Steaks, Pot Roast, and Chicken Parm Meatballs!
I have to admit the ingredients for the pork roast do not sound very appealing but I will take your word for I t. The dessert looks fabulous!!!! You're making my mouth water. Now I have to get something sweet. Love you
