Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!! Chris and I are staying in tonight! Gt my steak and shrimp marinating and two movies to watch...Just waiting on Chris to get home from work. I wanted to share my breakfast and lunch recipes! I cooked my Quinoa last night and this morning added a few things and whallla!! Healthy meal!!
Cinnamon Banana Quinoa
Add 3T of butter and 1/4 t or more of cinnamon to your already cooked quinoa. Microwave for 30 sec then stir add more butter or cinnamon if u want.. heat another 30sec stir. Add banana and drizzle with maple syrup!!! Yummmm.
I also for lunch did a cold quinoa. I added mandarin oranges to the cooked quinoa. I then mix some of the mandarin juice with honey and a pinch of salt. Pour over your quinoa and refrigerate 1hr. You can add dried cranberries and sunflower seeds too!! Very yummmy. No picture tho sorry!
